Rose’s game-winner leads Fordham over George Mason, 61-60

NEW YORK (AP) — Kyle Rose led Fordham with 16 points, including the game-winning 3-pointer with four seconds left and the Rams beat George Mason 61-60 on Tuesday night.

Rose was 5 of 14 shooting (4 for 11 from 3-point range) for the Rams (12-16, 6-9 Atlantic 10 Conference). Romad Dean scored 10 points, shooting 3 for 5, including 2 for 4 from beyond the arc. Will Richardson was 3 of 6 shooting, including 2 for 3 from 3-point range, and went 2 for 4 from the line to finish with 10 points.

Keyshawn Hall finished with 15 points for the Patriots (18-10, 7-8). Darius Maddox added 13 points, four assists and two steals for George Mason. Amari Kelly also put up eight points, eight rebounds and four blocks.

Both teams play on Saturday. Fordham visits Saint Joseph’s (PA) and George Mason hosts Duquesne.
